Day 1 -2 Santorini

A crescent moon enclosing one of the largest calderas in the world, Santorini is the only island, with Milos, of volcanic origin. The brute strength of the island is revealed in its black sand beaches but also in its villages clinging to the edge of the crater and descending in cascades of white cubes, in its maze of alleys from which beautiful views of the cliffs of multicolored strata of lava, ash and pumice.

Between an ode to laziness, visits to museums and archaeological sites, an incursion into wine cellars to taste the local vintages, dinner in taverns, walks, swimming and a cruise in a caique, a stay in Santorini will offer all the possibilities of relaxation.

Oia

Whitewashed houses, churches with bluish domes, troglodyte dwellings, old oil mills, immaculate alleys, art galleries, museums or even the ruins of an old Venetian fortress, you will put your suitcases down in Oia, the most pretty from Santorini.

Kamari

This seaside village on the southeast coast of Santorini is best known for its long black sand and pebble beach. Completely destroyed after the earthquake of 1956, this small village saw itself, like a phoenix rising from its ashes, rebuilding itself and becoming a very popular place for tourists.

Lost in the middle of the Aegean Sea, at the very end of the Cyclades, the mountainous island of Anafi has kept its authenticity and simplicity intact. With a unique, typically Cycladic Chora (village) of white houses overlooking the sea and narrow streets revealing superb views of the horizon, its Agios Nikolaos port, a coastline dotted with splendid coves and emerald-water beaches, accessible by a very beautiful coastal path, and the small chapels and monasteries of the hinterland to discover on foot, those who venture on this fishing island come here for its wild hikes and its friendly and quiet atmosphere. And young Athenians and other travelers in search of the picturesque were not mistaken.
